Senior Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

We are looking for a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x) to join our team in India as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Plan, design and keep track of projects
• Mechanical design of pressurized parts and systems in accordance with global, as well as national standards
• Answer technical questions, based on dedicated areas of responsibility
• Budget proposals for projects
• Select and qualify sub suppliers
• Support training of new employees
• Work with various departments, especially the manufacturing and testing division
• Communicate project needs and metrics to other managers and teams

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Master’s degree in engineering management or business administration is beneficial
• Several years of experience in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 consecutive years in engineering positions
• Ideally experience in project management
• Proficiency in engineering principles and practices as well as strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Experienced in 3D CAD tools and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, motivate employees and resolve conflicts
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is beneficial
• Six Sigma Green Belts or Six Sigma Black Belt Candidates are preferred
