We are looking for a full-time Internal Sales Engineer (m/f/x) to join our team in India as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Operating within the business unit of RMG Indias' division and close exchange with RMG Headquarters in Germany
- Daily contact with national and international customers
- Proposing budgetary and commercial technical offers based on customer specifications
- Processing and follow-up of orders
- Preparing and carry out of acceptance tests with customers
- Collaborating in the development of potential contacts to distributors and other sales channels
- Answering technical questions
- Working with various other departments, specifically manufacturing and testing as well as shipping division
- Preparing reports on the progress of larger orders
- Communicating customer requirements to other managers and teams
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Ideally a Master's degree in engineering management or business administration
- Several years of experience in engineering or a related field with a minimum of five consecutive years in engineering positions
- Previous experience in sales is an advantage
- Understanding and explaining of difficult technical products
- Strong knowledge in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills as well as excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with ERP-Systems (e.g. MS Dynamics SAP) would be advantageous
- Personality characterised by excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, a high level of initiative as well als the ability to work in a structured and timely manner
