Natural gas or processed biogas is ultimately a gas mixture made of a variety of individual components. Our gas chromatographs will analyse the composition and determine its’ most important components (up to 13, depending on the chosen version of the measuring device) with high accuracy, approved by notified bodies. From these determined proportions, the important parameters for gas billing and process control are calculated, for example, calorific value, heating value, standard density, density ratio and Wobbe number, just to mention the most important ones.
For faster respond time or for adjustable setups like gas mixers or power turbines, our correlative measuring system will be used for the non-custody transfer area.
Wherever needed, a combination of the previously mentioned devices solves most of the required functions in process or custody transfer applications. Additional 3rd party equipment can be integrated on top to determine values such as dew point or the total sulphur content. Within a fixed installed location or even as a highly flexible mobile concept – everything is possible.
